Conference Venue

MECC 2023 will be jointly held at the Tahoe Blue Center and Bally’s Lake Tahoe. The Tahoe Blue Center is located in the Stateline, Nevada area of South Lake Tahoe, nestled between the peaks of Heavenly Mountain Resort and beautiful Lake Tahoe. The Tahoe Blue Center is scheduled to open in July 2023, and it represents a new and unparalleled venue for conventions, special events, and entertainment on Lake Tahoe’s south shore. Virtual Tour is available here. The Bally’s Lake Tahoe, located right next to the Tahoe Blue Center, offers stylish rooms, dining, and live entertainment. The special room rates for MECC 2023 are as low as $69 per night at Bally's Lake Tahoe and are now open . Rate does not include taxes and fees.

Transportation

Airport: The closest airport is the Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO), offering flights on nine airlines and more than 130 nonstop flights daily. RNO is only about a one-hour drive from the conference venue. Another airport in the region is the Sacramento International Airport (SMF), which is about a two-hour drive from the conference venue.

Driving from the Bay Area: Hwy 80 E to Sacremento; Hwy 50 E to South Lake Tahoe; Exits into the Tahoe Basin in Meyers, CA Proceed to Lake Tahoe Blvd.

Driving from Reno: 580 S freeway ends at Carson St in Carson City; Hwy 50 to South Lake Tahoe.

Shuttle: The South Tahoe Airporter provides shuttle service with multiple round trips per day between RNO and several hotels in Lake Tahoe area, including the Bally’s Lake Tahoe.
