Pre-Conference Networking Mixer (full and VIP registrations)

This networking mixer has been planned to allow attendees to network with each over light appetizers and drinks before the beginning of the main program of the conference.
Opening Reception and ASME DSCD’s 80th Anniversary Celebration
This year’s opening reception ceremony is combined with 80th Birthday celebration of ASME’s Dynamic System and Controls Division! The event is going to be on a spectacular MS Dixie Cruise Ship. The cruise ship is chartered just for MECC 2023 event. Don’t miss this celebration and make sure to get extra tickets for your family before we ran out of the tickets.

Buses for Cruise will depart from Blue Tahoe Convention Center at 5:00PM
Enjoy socializing with your friends and colleagues over cocktails and heavy hors d’oeuvres. Tickets and/or Badges are required.

Coffee Break
Date: Daily (Tuesday through Thursday, with no Afternoon Session on Thursday)

Location: South Concourse
Morning and afternoon coffee breaks are scheduled daily in the South Concourse area outside meeting rooms. Coffee, tea, soft drinks, and light snacks will be served.
Poster Presentations
Date: Daily (Tuesday through Thursday, with no Afternoon Session on Thursday)

This year’s conference program includes daily poster presentations. Researchers will present their latest results in a poster format, and attendees and presenters will have an opportunity to interact, discuss, and share ideas during coffee breaks.
Awards Banquet
Date: Wednesday, Ocotber 4th
Time: 11:30 AM–1:50 PM
Location: Event Floor
The Lunch Banquet will precede with the Awards Ceremony wherein we will recognize student best paper and conference best awardees as well as the awardees of selected prestigious awards given by the ASME Dynamic Systems and Controls Division. These awards are given to recognize and honor the exceptional achievements and contributions of several leaders within the Dynamic Systems and Control Community. The awards ceremony will be concluded by the presentation and acceptance of the ASME Rufus Oldenburger Medal and a lecture by the awardee.
Closing Reception
Date: Thursday, Ocotber 5th
Time: 5:00 PM– 7:00 PM
Location: Outdoor on the 10,000 sq. ft. event lawn (the event will move indoors in case of weather issues)
